The sweet sound of softly falling snow...

in the month of October. Earliest snow fall in the three years since I've been here. It makes me happy because it is way better than rain. Alas, it won't last long, but that's okay. With the snow flying this early in the year there is bound to be lots more coming. Sledding on Thanksgiving anyone? Ice skating, cross country skiing, even walks in the snow are all welcome activities. When it rains all winter I don't get out much and my physical fitness suffers.

On the knitting front, still weaving in ends on the wedding gift. Started a clapotis scarf in the lovely Mountain Colors barefoot colorway granite peak. It is the following colors, but in barefoot. I would take a picture here, but as previously mentioned, no working camera.I am totally loving knitting with the barefoot. Took the hubbies measurements for his sweater, and will restart it from the top when I find the size circulars I need. Other than that, not much this last week.

Golly, look at the time... I should go grab the mail and get some work done.
