Daddy's Little Girl
Here's the proud papa with little Hannah. She really is so tiny. The hat is one I knit with Alpaca worsted, pattern from One Skein. The tie-dye blanky is from her Great Aunt Carly. In other news. My milk is coming in and making my breast rather tender. Much fun that is... it's a good thing Hannah is so adorable when she nurses. It makes it much more enjoyable.

Hi Katie! I've been trying to find the link to your blog forever so I am glad I located it again. CONGRATS! Big hugs from all of us here in Anchorage. She's BEAUTIFUL (and out, which is always a good thing).
The knits also look lovely, I wish I had done more when I was pregnant. So many cute little hats, so little time. Enjoy the early days while she sleeps, Callie is awake constantly and into EVERYTHING now and it doesn't leave me with much mommy time. Peter and I miss you guys immensely and are always very excited to get baby and parent updates from Tim. We're praying for smooth, lovely baby days for you in the coming months.
As for breast tenderness, it DOES go away but it can take awhile. Unbelievably, when she feeds LESS as she gets older the tenderness will subside because your production will regulate out. It took a good two months with Callie but we had feeding problems and the c-section exacerbated my fluid retention.
Oh, and I love that color you chose for the nursery. It's so cheerful and bright :)
When things slow down for you in a few weeks I wanted to call and chat with you, but I know you're busy with the baby. Still, now that you're a mom too we need to do the appropriate dishing and stay caught up! Take care and get lots of rest!
